Lyrics:

You think that something’s happening
And it’s bigger than your life
But it’s only what you’re hearing
Will you still remember
When the morning light has come
Will the songs be playing over and over
Till you do it all over again

Play, play the game tonight
Can you tell me if it’s wrong or right
It is worth the time, is it worth the price
Do you see yourself in a white spotlight
Then play the game tonight

If you listen to only the radio you would be convinced Kansas was only responsible for dust and wayward..what a shame

This is great. It gets me like 'Stop this game' by CT gets me. And it is all because of the chorus.

Should of really pushed this one harder and went head to head with Journey Styx during this era. Very good modernized Kansas here.

Noticed that Kerry had his Yamaha keys raised in order to stand while playing! Good song with lots of memories! Thank you for posting

I really like what they did 2:10 to 2:30. One might expected a typical long instrumental bridge (guitar solo) to a chorus repeat, but it’s just a couple measures of guitar then violin, then right back to the singer. Unexpected!

This song is a sequel to Styx's Blue Collar Man (Long Nights). I can picture Styx's Tommy Shaw singing the lead on this song.

Elefante looks like he is from the Heaven's Gate Cult with that weird hairdo and the purple shroud. This album was the beginning of the end for Kansas.
