I had no idea when I cam to Da Lat, Vietnam that I’d find such an odd work of architecture here. Original names the Hang Nga Villa, this fairy-tale fantasy is now known simply as the Crazy House. The architect, Dr. Dang Viet Nga, wanted to break from mainstream project and freely work on something that explored unconventional shapes and forms. The structures resembles cottages, mountains, and winding tree branches. It was opened for tourists to visit to help fund the continuing construction on the property, but you can also stay in one of the rooms for the night.
Admission is 40,000 VND.
